Description:
Supports the design team, undertaking whatever work is required to contribute to the design of each project and meeting these deadlines in a timely manner. Assists Directors and Project Managers on concept, procurement and design phases through AutoCAD and handles miscellaneous office work and organization as assigned. The Junior Designer position will assist in the preparation, updating and correction of drawings, presentations, graphics; design/drafting, fixture and accessory specification, furnishings, color and material boards; model making; FF&E sourcing; resource organization and general computer skills.
Required Skills:
- Obtained a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- 1-2 years’ experience in an Interior Design Firm
- Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively and professionally, on the phone, in person and via email.
- Able to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines and responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of interior design materials and sources.
- Can work well independently and with a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Photoshop, Adobe Programs and other design software.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketch Up
- Familiarity with office procedures, such as, purchase order processing, general record keeping, data entry and general office equipment
- A proficient level of experience in interior design concepts (space planning, furniture, fixtures, and product research)
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable interfacing with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal staff
- Must be able to lift 20lbs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with concept presentations
- Assist the department with product resource organization, sourcing and research
- Maintains project materials and samples
- Organization and maintenance of the sample library
- Assist with GC finishes, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, millwork details-specifications and organizing.
- Assists with miscellaneous errands as needed. Current Valid CA license and reliable mode of transport required.

Temporary Full-time Interior Design Drafter (Hiring Immediately)
We are a high end residential and commercial Interior Design firm seeking a temporary CAD Drafter to start immediately. The right candidate is reliable, resourceful, and trustworthy. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as a team player.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Technical Project Manager and design team on all project needs
- Draft floor plans, details and elevations on AutoCAD per team lead’s directions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with design team and team leads
- Help maintain project specifications, samples procurements and logistics/ deliveries etc.
Qualifications
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD
- Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
- 2+ years of interior design experience with construction documents set up
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- SketchUp knowledge is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of ADA & Building Codes a plus but not required
- Photoshop, Illustrator or other 3D rendering skills a plus but not required

Role:
The FF&E Procurement Coordinator will be able to collaborate seamlessly with our project managers, suppliers, fabricators, in-house interior designers, and warehouse team on multiple projects.
Responsible for the purchasing and negotiation of FF&E with favorable payment terms with suppliers, creating purchase orders, checking order acknowledgments for accuracy, expediting reports and FF&E tracking. They will handle the purchasing and procurement of FF&E to arrive to our warehouse facilities and insure the are installed on time at our various large multi-family communities throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop, lead and execute all purchasing strategies. They will have the experience and familiarity with sourcing and vendor management to monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. We are mostly looking for a strong independent worker with solid judgement who can also work well with a team.
Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in FF&E procurement and purchasing
- Strong knowledge of Interior FF&E products
- Highly motivated, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task with creative problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of being highly organized.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially EXCEL), Adobe Acrobat and project management/procurement software (Design Smart a plus)

Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Project Manager, we’ll count on you to:
- Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects and larger routine projects interior design sets, details, elevations, layouts.
- Work with other Project leads to track and manage financial performance of project for success (e.g., work plan, schedule, fees, change orders, billings, and collections)
- Manage project lifecycle; kick-off, weekly coordination, punch list, turnover, opening, and project close-out.
- Work with the Design Director and Technical CAD Manager to coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project’s development
- Establish client relations, and be involved with architectural, contractual, design and production meetings
- Conduct work sessions for design development and CAD documents in conjunction with other staff
- Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects as it pertains to your scope, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule and budget
- Work with Business/Accounting Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

- Superior Knowledge of building codes, interior architecture details, Reflected Ceiling Plans, Power and Switching Plans, elevations and all other items to review, redline and help produce Interior Design Construction documents.

- History of building and maintaining strong Client relationships.

Required Qualifications
