Cityview and Clarion Partners’ 276-unit multifamily community receives a modern refresh for residents in the lively film studio neighborhood
BURBANK, Calif., September 9, 2024 – Nadia Geller Designs (NGD), an award-winning interior design firm offering services across the real estate community, has completed the interior design installation at Atrio, a multifamily community in Burbank formerly known as Empire Landing. Cityview and Clarion Partners’ 276-unit garden-style apartment complex has been completely refreshed by NGD, with stylish upgrades across the property’s common areas,
including the clubhouse, fitness center, movie theater, pool deck, bocce ball court and courtyard.
Located at 1901 N. Buena Vista Street, the community features Craftsman style rental homes and townhomes (in a mix of studios and one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments) set within resort style amenities and lush landscaping. Atrio is situated near entertainment companies like Warner Bros and Walt Disney studios, making it a prefect community for creative types searching for short commute times. The multifamily development is also only four miles from Hollywood Burbank Airport.
In keeping with the film studio environment, NGD designed a private screening room next to the community center for residents, offering comfortable seating options upholstered in textiles featuring natural tones. For digital nomads and remote workers who appreciate a modern, yet inviting space, the library and indoor lounge provide elegant, jewel-blue club chairs that visually pop against sectional banquettes and wooden bookcases in a neutral palette. The clean aesthetic of the fitness center is seen in the recessed LED lighting in the ceilings and herringbone patterned floors.
There are exterior areas to socialize throughout Atrio, including a bocce ball court, outdoor fire pits, BBQ stations, and a resort-style swimming pool deck with padded chaise lounge chairs all around. NGD worked on all aspects of the exterior design finishes.
“Our client Cityview really empowered us to refresh the property to its new luxurious state,” said Nadia Geller, president of Nadia Geller Designs. “That enabled us to add modernity and high-end details like a private theater and remote work area while still keeping the charm of the original Craftsman style.”
During Atrio’s redesign and installation process, NGD partnered with other firms including SH Partners, Willo General and URC West.
